Table tennis betting explained
Matches last minutes, schedules run around the clock, and a small edge can swing quickly at the table.

Table tennis betting is fast. Games are played to 11 points (with a two-point margin needed at 10-10), and matches are usually best of five or best of seven games. Professional events, from the world tour to busy regional leagues, produce a huge number of matches every day.
Main markets:
- Match winner;
- Games handicap, e.g. -1.5 games, which in best of five means winning 3-0 or 3-1;
- Total games, e.g. over 3.5;
- Correct score in games;
- Total points in a game or the match.
What matters: playing style (an attacking looper against a defensive chopper is a classic matchup problem), handedness, recent form over many matches, and fatigue when players appear several times in one session. Because each game is short, an underdog can take a game easily; winning three requires a sustained level.
Worked example: a player with a 60 % chance of winning each game wins a best of five about 68 % of the time, so a match price of 1.47 (68 % implied) would be roughly fair before margin.
