Floorball betting: odds and markets explained

An indoor game played at full speed with a light plastic ball, floorball is a Nordic favourite with plenty of goals.

Updated October 4, 2026

Floorball betting is popular in the countries where the sport is strongest: Sweden, Finland, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, which all run serious domestic leagues, plus the World Championships for national teams. A game is three periods of 20 minutes with stopped-clock rules at the top level, and five players plus a goalkeeper per side.

Scoring is lively: around ten goals in a game is common. The main markets:

  • 1X2 after regular time, as draws happen;
  • Winner including overtime where available;
  • Goal handicap, e.g. -2.5 for a strong favourite;
  • Total goals, often a line around 9.5 or 10.5;
  • Period betting for each 20-minute period.

What matters: the gap between top national teams and the rest is wide, so international handicaps can be large; in club play, depth matters because teams rotate lines frequently; goalkeeper form swings totals; and teams trailing late often pull the goalkeeper, which produces late goals into an empty net, much as in ice hockey.

Worked example: under 10.5 goals at 2.05 implies 48.8 %. If two defensively organised clubs meet in a play-off, you may rate the under higher.

Nocturn Sport is expanding its own pricing sport by sport. Our ice hockey page explains how a goals model handles a similar game, the sports hub lists our coverage, and the sportsbook is nocturnsport.com.
